What are accounting services?
Accounting services include bookkeeping, financial analysis, tax filing, payroll services, account management services, budgeting and forecasting, divorce and retirement planning, and many other financial organizing and management tasks.
How much does it cost to outsource accounting?
The monthly service fees for accounting services can range anywhere between a few hundred dollars a month to a few thousand dollars a month.
When not on a monthly retainer accountant service rates vary, typical fees range from $150-$400 or more an hour, depending on the type of work and the size of the company. For more routine work and monthly financial and payroll responsibilities you can pay lower rates by hiring a bookkeeper for $30-$50 an hour.
At Franskoviak Tax Solutions we have all professional levels available for the convenience of our clients. Our on-boarding process involves meeting with our clients and developing a unique and cost-efficient service plan to fit your specific needs.
What’s the difference between CPA, Accountant and Bookkeeper?
CPA’s (Certified Public Accountants), Accountant and Bookkeepers all work with individuals and businesses managing their financial well-being.
Bookkeepers ~ perform several services that apply to most types of businesses. A bookkeeper generally records sales and purchases, reconciles financial documents, track accounts payable and accounts receivable, and they process and maintain a company’s payroll system. Bookkeepers often only have a high school education level, many have some college but not always a college degree.
Accountants ~ have at least a bachelor’s degree, although it doesn’t have to be in accounting. Accountants can review business finances and give management analysis and perspective. Accountants often specialize in tax advice and tax planning, financial projections for the business’s future and Company spending.
Certified Public Accountants ~ The difference between a CPA and a regular accountant is that only CPAs can write an audited financial statement, such as a balance sheet or income statement.
In addition, to become a CPA an accountant must pass their state licensing exam to get certified. The exam lasts 14 hours, and a large majority of test takers fail portions of the test on their first try. In order to keep their license, CPAs take 40 hours of added professional education every year. A CPA makes about 20% higher income than an accountant who is not certified.
Our accounting services provide financial statement preparation, accounts receivable services, bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting, divorce planning, quickbooks training, new business formation, income tax planning and preparation, retirement planning, business acquisition consulting, and many other services.
Financial Statements ~
We prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements. Financial statements are necessary for bank loans, tax preparation, and for business owners to review the health and status of the business. We can prepare your financial statements and work with you to determine available opportunities to increase business profits.
Accounts Receivable ~
Why should you waste your time creating invoices or trying to collect money from clients/customers? We can enter invoices for you, generate statements for invoices not paid after a specific period of time and send past due reminders too. As much or as little help that you need managing the accounting for your business, we can provide it.
Bank Reconciliations ~
Having a professional accounting service prepare your bank reconciliations is a smart idea. It is always good to have a third party looking over transactions especially if you have an internal bookkeeper or accountant. This cuts down on mistakes and embezzlement issues. You will be assured your cash is accurate.
Income Tax Planning & Preparation ~
Individual tax planning and preparation can be a complicated, time-consuming process. But it doesn’t have to be that way. By enlisting qualified professional services to manage it for you, your tax season can be stress-free. We believe sitting face-to-face with our clients and getting to know their needs so that we can provide the most profitable tax returns for our clients.
